So i'm at a point were the only thing i have left to do in my case is a really clean wiring job. When you look into an alienware or any high end company. They do a crazy good job of running wires. I was wondering if any of you had good tricks to make it look clean. I am not talking about shoving power supply cables in a bunch and trying to push it somewhere or just using all round cables for airflow. I want to know if you got guides/tips on how to wire like a pro.

Zip ties are your friends

I usually wire the PSU power cables behind the mobo and just sneak them out and into the plug right at the edge of the board.

Use zip ties or (I prefer black) bag ties to keep your peripheral wires in one neat mass.

Looks best if you dont have wires hanging in free space, route them directly from the PSU to the back of the case, move along an edge of some sort until the device being powered, and try to keep all angles of the wiring parallel or perpendicular to the case corners and drive bays. It is the way humans visualize beauty (talked about it in Psychology class a few weeks ago) we enjoy clean lines with no odd angles.

Best tip of all, be creative! Don't follow some exact guide, just mess with it and see what looks good to you!

You can use the flat IED cables that came with your motherboard for a very clean look, here are some examples of cable folding. The best part is you can save money and this is something the pros also do.

Also in Lang-Li cases I have seen hard drives installed with the connector side facing the front fan. But it probably would require buying right angle sata cables. A look inside a very very nice Maingear system.

Damn good response. Yeah everyone before was kind of on the same page as me. But that folding of the flat ides is what interested me.

My new antec Solo case you can have the hard drives facing forwards to hide all the cables. Also around the side of the case they tried their own cable management system. I havent gotten to testing it but it looks nice.

thanks everyone this really is an art
