Well for now I have a Gigabyte GA7DXR+ and a Athlon 2300+,that I will loose in about 2 days and return to a 1700+ overclocked to 2000+ (1.6Ghz) and for me it's just working great.

My frog asked me for a cigarette...dunno what happened he's all over the place

Wow... well that is a difficult question... every mobo/CPU configuration can have its own problems. And everybody prefers his/her own CPU and mobo/chipset brands.

But if I would buy a new mobo/CPU at this moment I would buy an Abit KX7-333R and a AMD Athlon XP 1800+. Then I will unlock it and OC it to atleast 1800 MHz or higher with my watercooling, with ofcourse a 166 (333) MHz FSB.

With a hovering case crashing takes a whole new meaning... .

If I had to buy a new computer today, I'd get the Asus A7V-333 with Athlon XP
