SideWinder Dual Strike and Win2000 - HELP!

Hi all.
I'm thinking of installing Win2000 at my PC. I also want to install the Sudewinder Dual Strike gamepad, but I think the cd that came with it contains only Win98 drivers. Is there anyone who has succesfully installed this Sidewinder gamepad on Win2000? If yes, with what drivers?
Here is what Microsoft says:

"The SideWinder Dual Strike software (version 4.0) was designed to run on Windows 98. It is not compatible with earlier Windows-based operating systems.

At the time this software was released, the Windows 2000 operating system was not yet available. You can install and run SideWinder Dual Strike software on a computer that's running Windows 2000, but all features may not function as expected and this software may not function properly. To install the SideWinder software on Windows 2000, you must log on as an administrator"

I would appreciate any suggestion.
