I've heard from a low of 2.4 ghz to a hgh of 2.9 ghz. so much depends upon the phrase "It all depends". Someplace around 2.6 seems common. By the way, which model of ram, XMSPC3200, PC3500LL, other?

I checked AMD's website here. There is no A64 Socket 939 3800+ San Diego core. There is only the Venice core with 512KB of cache.

To answer your question. If it is a 3800+ Venice Core, then I would except it to OC between 2.6-2.7GHz.

The 3700+ San Diego is a better OC'ing CPU.
