Overall the performance of the X1950Pro turns out to be very similar to the X1900XT 256MB. I would guess this points to ATI doing some core tweaks to the RV570 besides just integrating the Crossfire engine. The clock speeds are X1600XT level at 575MHz core and 686MHz memory, but with a 256-bit memory interface it'll have more memory bandwidth than the previous X1900GT. It's cooler is based on the new design from the X1950XTX just single-slotted so hopefully it'll be quiet although they didn't comment. We'll have to see it compared to the 7900GS and 7950GT, but the X1950Pro is looking very good.
