We have recently installed NFSU2. When I double click on the icon the
screen momentarily goes blank then I am returned to the desktop. I've
tried running it in safe mode with the same result.
Specs:
Athlon XP 2000 256 MB RAM
ATI Radeon 9200 with ATI drivers
DirectX 9.0c
Win XP Pro with SP2 and latest security updates

You probably need an update for NFSU2 which you can get at:
