Hey guys,

it's annoying me again. How can i improve my 54M G wireless connection? trouble is i'm on a home network and i have set windows to run offline files so i can listen to my Xibit even when the "Media Server" is turned off, and with large amounts files to sync it does that a life time everytime i switch on and off it's a pain in the neck! any ideas?

You could replace it with a USR... I have a USR5450 54/125, a AP only no router. The unit comes with 2 x 5 db gain antennas too. Never a hangup in over 1 yr of use. I also use their pcmci card wth it.

Try turning off logging. It has been know to cause problems.

You may need to upgrade your firmware. It its a early Linksys, there is unix firmware avaliable for it. Lot more control options.

You may have wireless device that is inter-fearing with it, phone, microwave ....
