I recently put together a new system due to my old pc dying, shortly after i got everything up and running i have been getting continual blue screen errors, even when i am just browsing the web. Now i am not sure if this could be caused by the memory or the graphics card. Could this be a possible fault with the motherboard its self?

You need to give us all the specs of the hardware.

Did you do a fresh install of your operating system?

What have you tried so far to fix the problem?

I also have an ASRock 775Dual-VSTA and originally had similar problems. its down to the bios and the default settings for memory timing and voltage. It seems that the functions that determine the proper memory timings to use if you leave the settings on auto (the default) are borken.

Go into the bios and set the voltage from low to normal, also set the timing to 'relaxed' and instead of strict, (or whatever they called it) and instead of leaving the memory latencies set to auto, specify them yourself in accordance with whatever timings your memory has.

I did this and it fixed the problem right up for me. Not a single blue screen ever since.
