I'm looking for a new PSU. It will power e6600, x1900xtx, two HDs, one DVD RW, floppy drive and a nynja plus, in a thermaltake suprano case.
will this be enough?

looks good to me. Just for reference, I have a cheaper 400 watt on my system, and it does a fine job with watts and amps leftover for plenty more. The enermax you picked out should work perfectly with your application
Once again, thanks.
I've been struggling with the PSU issue for a while now, and it was the only thing that kept me from building the system. So now I can finally finish up my oder and start building
Yeah, I can feel where you are coming from. I may of to upgrade my PSU when DX10 cards start getting cheaper, I'm not sure if my 12v rail has enough amps to it. We'll see though. Good Luck on your PSU. How much did you find it for, by the way?
Well, today I finally ordered a PSU and I actually went for the enermax liberty 500W. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817194003 as I found it for roughly $10 more, so I figured I should just go for it...
As for the price, computer parts are a bit expensive over here.
The enermax Noisetaker 485W costs about $140, and that's one of the cheap PSUs...
Believe it or not, but I actually paid $1999 for my E6600, DS3, 2 gig of G.skill ram, x1900xtx and the scythe ninja plus. So all of you that buy a complete rig for $1000 should consider yourselves lucky..
Actaully I'm in Israel, where the ratio is about 1 to 4.2 and on top of that the computer parts are usually twice as expensive than in the U.S
New PC games usually cost about $60 here. In Israel computers are a really expensive hobby :?
Yes, that PSU is good and will do. Though, at least here in the States, this Enermax Noisetaker II is 5 bucks more and better.
And it has SLI support if that means anything to you.
EDIT: Weird. On Newegg's general page where is lists a bunch of PSU's the price is $85 but once you click on it to get details, it's $80. So, in fact, it's the same price as the Noisetaker mentioned in the OP. If the Noisetaker II is available at the same price, then it's the one to definitely get.
