New computer needs new speakers. Wondering if I should go with Altec Lansing 641 or Monsoon MH505 5.1 Surround Sound Flat Panel Speakers. I know the choice is tough. Any comments will greatly appreciated. If I win Big Game at $119 million I'll get both.

IF you'd win 119 Million, I would buy a 6 Piece Bose Surround Sound Package with an ONKYO reciever! LOL... with two 200W Subwoofers, Now that's a dam Music System LOL

definitely the monsoons, i've heard both and the monsoons are signifantly clearer and have better overall sound quality. the 641's subwoofer is quite a thing to behold, however.

also, if i won the lottery i'm not gonna get any p.o.s bose speaker system. even the dreaded loud, overrated klipsch speakers sound better than the bose "direct reflecting" technology

You think the Bose Surround sound Speaker package's are Bad ????

they charge to dam much, but the sound on them is awesome

Yeah, Im a Huge Klipsch Fan, i have tons of Klipsch components, but i heard those Bose Speakers, and they sound Awesome!...there so small and the sound they throw out is awesome...
