Hello all, I'm new here!

I am in the process of getting a new computer (in the next months).
Let's dream a little and disregard for the moment the $ question, and let's imagine what one would dream to have as an ueber-box de la muerte.
Ideally, I dream of a silent box with no fan at all.

best performance? 2x Dualcore? which CPUs? AMD/Intel?
How much RAM can Vista handle per Process, how much should be in the comp? what RAM type?
Which Motherboard? Tyan Thunder K8WE ?
RAID 5 controller? What disks, bus? what is best for simultaneously writing and reading large files?
SLI Graphics? which cards?
watercooled? pump noise?

Write your ideas, as if $$ were unimportant!

im not sure if anyone will post to this but welcome to the forums bro.

i remember doing a project like this for a comp class, it included every part of the computer, monitor, desk, chair, anything you would need to be comfortable.

i beleive my setup was into $20,000 with all the furniture and of course super huge T.V. as the monitor. :lol:
