Passive Northbridge Cooler

I have a MSI K8n Neo 4f motherboard and I would like to replace the fan with a fanless heatsink. I have seen several nice looking ones from Zalman. My question is has anyone paied these two and knows that they fit? Also, what is the proceedure for removing the fan? What about old thermal paste?

Why? You're going to need a lot of air movement inside the case to make the passive hs work, so you may have to add internal case fans.

Unfamiliar with that board. Try checking zalmans site for compatibility ?
