sli vs higher end?

long time reader
first time poster

so to start off...i was wonder which you all would consider better
i was thinking of going with 2 7600 GTs in SLI
but then there is also the option of getting like 1 7950 of x1800xt?

which would you all choose?

Never SLI with two mid-range cards.

Single 7900GT, X1800XT are much better options.

One $200 card > 2 $130 cards.
