Dell laptop with win 7 does not start blue screen trying to repair

When starting up get blue screen and says it is trying to repair problems. Was working fine when turned off a few days ago.
Cannot access anything. It tries to repair itself for hours but never finished.

Hve you tried rolling back?

HOW TO/

Repetedly and rapidly press F8 immediately after starting your PC until it gives you multiple options.

One of these will be "Last Known Good Configuration" or something to that affect.

Select this and pray.

First and only screen I get...cant roll back
But I know how to pray and will try that

I did what you said and it opened the first image which is on the motherboard but went no further...like maybe the hard drive is not spinning.
I let it set for maybe 20 min .... nothing but the windows flag on the first screen
I turned it off and back on and it did the same as before...trying to repair itself
So maybe the hard drive is not coming up...what do you think?

Power on system keeping tapping F12 key you will get an option for DIAGNOSTICS run the scan and check if you get hard drive error
