How to reset netbook to windows 7 factory settings?

I recently purchased an Asus Eee PC and its a great little machine...however it has a lot of bloat-ware on it and according to several system monitors i use the cpu and the ram are both nearing 95-100% at odd times. Now i dont want to restore the netbook to the Asus factory settings which will just add the unnecessary stuff again...but is there a way to reset the windows 7 started edition to just what windows includes? no asus extras that im never going to use?

I'm using one to write this and killed off all the bloatware in Programmes and Features or by stopping them from starting up at boottime in System Configuration. To get back to basics with jus Windows 7 (or XP) you'd need a new, expensive Windows DVD.
