No wireless connection

Hello, I purchased a new laptop with win 7 but cannot connect to my old router d-link wbr 1310. sal

Assuming all the hardware is working, if your router is SECURE WIRELESS mode you'd need to supply Windows with your password.

You can start with:
1. open Windows "HELP and Support"
2. type in "wireless"
3. choose "view and connect to available wireless networks"

You never specified wireless though. Either way, you should plug into the ETHERNET to test it. Setup should be automatic.
