First Post! I'm not a graphics card expert so bear with me please.
I have 3 19" monitors on 2 graphic cards and when playing high quality video the center screen randomly blinks.
2 lcd monitors are on this one card, one dvi and one vga hookup, and the center screen (dvi-i) only blinks when video is played on one of these 2 screens. If the video is moved to the other screen on it's own card the blinking stops.
Could it be the power supply is not enough to support the setup? The card requires a mimimum of 250w and my power supply is 250w I think. (dell dimension 8200)
The card is a GeForce 6200 OC, agp 256 mb ddr, 375mhz, nvidia
I'm really not sure what info may be needed to diagnose the problems.
Whole system specs would be needed, but I dont believe it is a PSU problem yet.
It's probably a hardware/software conflict, or something related to that most likely. Running a movie on 3 screens... thats pretty crazy. Are you splitting it across all 3? I would bet money that the software is having issues splitting it, but your problem is fairly unique.
I just bought the nvidia 6200 card and installed it in my emachines comuter and in a hp 514n computer in both machines the moniter blinks for no reason. Could this be a power supply issue? I am only running one screen
