i have a celeron D 3.06 ( :( i know...) running on an asrock775 DUAL-Vsta board and its temps are reading at just under 40C when idle. is this to high? the board is reading at just under 30C, and i have good ventilation. If it is too high is it worth reapplying the heatsink and thermal paste, anyway TY in advance. :D

your temps are great. over 60c would be too hot.

whats your temps under full load and are you using the stock heatsink?

i tell a lie, its 50C at idle, havent tested at full. that seems a bit high :S. and yes its the stock heatsink. mmm perhaps a bit too much thermal paste?

50C is'nt so great maybe reseating the heatsink and apply new thermal paste.

is your case ventalation good or bad because this could be causing your high temps
