Hi I'm following the overclocking guide V1.1, I have a e6600 with a P5w Deluxe, and a Scythe Infinity, and am currently running at 3Ghz, with load temps of 56C max.... a bit high, so I'm going to remount the Infinity this weekend with some arctic silver 5, hope that reduces the temps somewhat....

This is my first try at overclocking and I'm still a little nervous at pushing up the FSB, but what the heck... I need to give it a try

my questions are follows......

as I was following the guide, it said set PCIe to 100Mhz or auto for DS3/DS4/DQ6... can anybody tell me what they are and if I am one... lol

also in the bios (version 1305) I cannot seem to disable the virtualization, it's greyed out and stuck on enabled, any idea how I disable this ?

Also I have DDR2 6400 (800Mhz) Corsair xms2 memory and I can't seem to find any spec that tells me if I should run it at 2.1v or 2.2v ? anybody got an idea ?

Sorry about all the questions but before I push the FSB any more, I want to make sure I got all the settings correct...

Thanks in advance for the answers

So what type of motherboards is a P5W Deluxe... DS3/DS4/DQ6 ?

Where would it tell me ?

No, no....

The DS3/DS4/DQ6 are motherboards made by Gigabyte. For example I own a Core 2 E6400 running on a Gigabyte P965 DS3. Your running a Core 2 E6600 on a Asus P5W Deluxe.

DS3/DS4 etc are just model numbers given to socket 775 motherboards by Gigabyte.
