[SOLVED] USB WiFi adapter with MacBook Air

This is probably a really stupid question, but my Airport card died in my 2008 MacBook Air and I don't want to get if replaced. It would cost me at least $100 for Apple to fix it, while I don't think it is worth it anymore. Does anybody know if I can use a generic USB Wireless Adapter on my Air to connect to Wifi?

You'll need to install the software somehow first. A USB key is probably the easiest way.
