Anyone have a favorite HD cooler they could recommend?

I have a couple cases with poor ventilation. Currently I am actively cooling the hard drives with case fans and duct tape. It isn't pretty but it gets the job done.

I think its time to buy actual HD cooler. I am look at models at Newegg that fit a 3.5" bay and cool the HD from above with 1 or two fans.

Past experience with case fans have taught me that some brands last forever while other's die in a few months. Also the posted dB specs seldom resemble reality.

I am hoping that someone out there has tried several brands of hard drive coolers and can point me in the right direction.

I'm considering the Smart Drive 2002 Copper Cool, Quiet Hard Drive Enclosure for an upcoming 400GB - 500GB hard drive. But it's kinda expensive at $72 before shipping and is not sold at newegg.

Sometimes I think I am simply insane.

I want somethig cheap. You don't need anything too fancy just to blow some air on top of a drive.

I also want something to muffle drive noise as nuch as possible. The Smart Drive can do that. Like I said, sometimes I think I'm just insane.

I am going with the Thermaltake model as I have a bunch of Thermaltake case fans that have proven quiet and dependable. I need 2 but at $6 each I will just buy 4.
