ECC memory?

I thought AMD Opteron's had to have ECC memory or am I thinking of a different processor?

My understanding is that the Socket 940 Opterons must use ECC memory, whereas the Socket 939 Opterons run fine and dandy on non-ECC memory.

It's habit. Most forums have the "reply" button at the bottom of the thread and the "New Topic" button elsewhere or at the buttom of the page that list the threads for a partucular forum.

I don't join much forum, so i don't see much differences on their layout.

Think that S940 Opterons do but S939 Opterons don't.
