Cant install windows 7

Clean install new computer - ASUS M4A89TD Pro board, SATA 6 HD, I get to the loading screen in windows 7 setup gets to "Expanding Window files" and then stops and gives me the blue error screen. Stuck an old SATA 3 drive that has some problems just to see if it would startup the Windows 7 that is installed on it and yes it does of course then shortly after being up it does the crash dump at the blue screen error like it was doing in my old computer but that is the problem the drive already had. Any help would be appreciated.

what does the BSOD say, usually tells you what caused the issue.

Thanks, but i got it working. I pulled out one of the dimms and it went like a charm.
