Speakers won\'t work in window 7

i have installed window 7 after removing winXp. my speaker doesnot produce sound, but in window it gives the signal of having sound. what to do plz help me. plz plz

Go to control panel then system then device manager then sound/game controler and right click on your sound device then uninstall then reboot your computer. This should reinstall your sound device. Also make sure you have your speakers plugged it the right port.

i did it but again it doesnot give sound in the speaker. give me another solution plz
