What do you mean rumors? It's been tested and available. It ranks below a 7900GTX and above the 7950GT, so: 7900GTX>7900GTO>7950GT>7900GT>7900GS. Of course there are rumors surrounding the card and many people assumed it was as good as a 7900GTX when OC'ed.

The X1900XT 256MB is better for the same money or less.

GeneticWeapon, can i keep the pic? It could really help me.

The 7900 GTO is an interesting card, i like to think that it's a prize.
A prize to the people who research the industry, looking for the best price/performance card they can get. The 7900 GTO costs abt the same as the 7900 GT but is better then the 7950 GT wich costs 50$ more.
So if u did ur homework, then ur supposed to have found this little gift from nVidia. If not, then spend another 100$ for the same performance

This card puts nVidia in the lead, unless 256MB is enough for u, and then the X1900XT is still the best. Its the best anyway, at least for ppl like me who like HDR+AA, using it for GPGPU work, 512-bit internal memory bus, fetch4 (for Crysis) and many more features that only it has. The 7900 series is just a higher clocked 7800 series, wich is only a modified 6800 series.

Agreed. Its the best price/perf as far as nvidia cards go at least. If I weren't seriously thinking about buying the new gen in Nov. I'd totally SLI two of those GTOs in my quad build for roughly the price of a single GTX, completely SICK imo !

Its just a shame it had to come right before the new cards are released
