Hi all
I would like to ask, how to set up a wirenet work using linux,
I have a Linksys Wireless-B router and a USB wireless card that is "g" based, I would to setup in Linux, can help?? finding the drivers and steps?

I don't know if you already checked but there seems to be gobs of info on wireless in the Linux forum here at Tom's. If you haven't you should check that out too.
What is the brand of USB WiFi adapter?
You might want to read <A HREF="http://tips.linux.com/article.pl?sid=05/01/20/2251203&tid=100&tid=18&tid=121" target="_new"><font color=red>this</font color=red></A> in the mean time. It seems to be useful. Looks like it may depend on the kernel you are using and maybe the distribution too. Certainly wlan.conf will play a major role. :smile:

Yep, this is the wrong forum for that question. You'll get better results in a Linux or OS forum.

Just install a well known distro like suse, redhat, mandrake, etc. I'm sure most of them have the driver for that linksys card built in. Once it is installed the connection setup is pretty much the same as windows from what I can remember. Such as putting in AP, scanning for AP, putting in wep, etc.
