Further proof that steriods are evil, and kill. Ban all steriods.

Are steroids not banned in the US? Are they not illegal?

Well, they are actually widely used in the US. Anabolic steroids are used in food prodcution (beef), health care (medicine) and obviously, sports.

Both Anabolic and Cortico steroids are used legally in medicine in the US, but then, so is marijuana. Presciption only of course. Non prescription (Illegal) usage ...well, that happens too.

BTW, the use of what are called "hormonal growth promotants" (a politically correct 'umbrella' term) in beef production is common throughout the world, including Australia. Guess what thingy falls under the term "hormonal growth promotants

Not if you're Sylvester Stallone!

Reply to Tom_Smart

Steroids have their uses.

Wrestling, though, is bloody stupid.

Discuss.

Reply to mugz

Are you telling me two birds on a rubber mat and covered in beans is wrong?

Reply to Tom_Smart

steroids help regenerate damage cells alot faster than normally.

Reply to mrface

I heard they are for carpet carriers.

Reply to Tom_Smart

I have to agree with tom on this.

I think there are forms of wrestling that have high sociomoral redemptive value

WWF, WWE, and that other stuff....just soap operas for men and boys.

Yeah they do. I used to work as a machinist before going to college, and I developed a skin reaction from prolonged exposure to a certain cutting coolant we used. It was annoying and painful, leaving my hands dried and cracking down to the muscle. The docs prescribed an anabolic steriod salve. Cleared up my problem almost instantly.

Reply to turpit

Steroids are also used if doctors have to administer a medicine that the patient has an allergic reaction to.

Two women on a mat with (insert slippery semiliquid here) is not wrestling, it's one step away from porn. My point is still valid, I feel.

I have refereed (oil wrestleing) before. at a club i was a bouncer/bar back at. When the girls first came to the club with there manager they all had
blackeyes and bruises.

While i reffed i got elbowed punched and slammed alot.
After the second night two of the girls(really didnt like each other)
Got to trading hard blows for real 8O

As a ref i had clothes on and they were oiled up. They actually kicked my ass at the end the show.

Reply to sirheck

I take it there was no tearing-off of the clothing followed by acts of a lesbian-pornographic nature.

:( :( :(

Reply to turpit

Yeah they wore bikinis and their tops would get ripped off but they didnt seem to care.

Their manager said after a while (say a minute or so) to break them up
and let them re-adjust. I said ok

Reply to sirheck

Were the endowments worth the "minute or so"?

Reply to turpit

I could only see out of one eye as i had got smacked in it and had baby oil in the other

I got elbowed and lost a contact(im a blind motherfucker)

Had to drive home from T.A.F.B. to shawnee that night with only one
contact. Kinda sucks.

Reply to sirheck

It has been my experience that most sporting officials are blind any way...you shoulda fit right in...

Reply to _WW_

If i had glasses the lenes would look like the bottom of coke bottles.
And if i get any blinder(is that a word) with contacts, well they will be
so thick i cant close my eyes.

Would steroids help 8O

*Starts assembling Clockwork Orange inspired idea list.*

Just for future reference, of course.

Reply to exit2dos

Like I said, if you are a referee you don't need any corrective lenses...being blind is a requirement.

Not if you're Sylvester Stallone!

Yes, well, his "down under" venture turned very focking sour when our federal police raided his room and found all of his "growth" shite bottled up.

Arsehole.

On a side note: apparently Stallone had a prick of for an old man.

Reply to BomberBill

if your eyesight has stabled out over the last 12 months then you can get lasik, that might could help[

Reply to mrface

I'm also inclined to suggest laser surgery.

Talking about eye surgery, did you know that cocaine (in liquid form) is used for eye anaesthetic? Apparently it's the only stuff that truly works to anaesthetize the eyeball.

Don't take this as gospel, though... something I heard from a pharmacologist, haven't bothered checking to see if it's actually true or not.
