Here's a picture of the I/O panel, it came with the shown ring terminal loose. It looks like it might be for grounding but I'm not sure, the cable that it's attached to goes to the motherboard for firewire. I'm guessing this should definately be connected before i attempt to power up and use firewire, the circuit board is connected to the aluminum panel by a metal bracket, and the panel is then attached to the case by metal screws, would this be safe?
