2 gb ram for a smart phone? good. dame. I wonder how smart phone will be like 20 years later? 2 gb ram more memory than a hard drive I have my first pc at 1997..

My computer had 2gb of ram till a few months ago when I upgraded to 4gb :( This makes me feel like I am due for an upgrade. Even my cheap Chromebook has 2gb of ram which is actually faster than my desktop's ram.

You should have seen my old Texas Instrument TI............

I remember when ram started to be sold in megs.........

The Galaxy SIII has 2GB of RAM and is over 6 months old.

Yes, but that doesn't mean anything. More RAM means more drain on the battery for possible negligible performance increases. By this same logic, every single computer ever sold should have a faster processor / more RAM / larger HDD than any computer ever sold before it.
