Following a 2-4.5% sequential price up for DRAM contract prices in the first half of October, DRAMeXchange believes that price growth should weaken in the second half of this month, despite projections from some PC OEMs that prices will rise 5%sequentially.

This seems a one way street folks... I do not expect any reversal of this trend until long after Vista is out...

It sucks. CPU prices finally drop, then RAM goes up...makes it hard to sell systems and make any money. :x

Possibly because were hitting Octobers second half but RAM prices (at least in newegg) have gone down. $235 for the cheapest 2GB DDR2 800 CL4 when a week ago was ~$255.
