Alright guys. I just bought the new Lian Li pc-s80a case. Its incredible, but the power and reset buttons appear to be sort of stuck in and on a diagonal. When I try to press them, I can't decide if anything would actually happen if my system was actually all hooked up. I don't want to completely build my new system only to find that the damn power button doesn't work. Anyone know how to test the power button without completely building the system? I have an old motherboard that I could use, with the cpu in it, but no extra power supply. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Here's the new parts I ordered:

intel 6400
corsair ddr800 4-4-4-12

use a multimeter.

I believe when the putton is "pushed" in, there is resistance, when the button is "out" there is no resistance.

A multi meter measuers varies electric properties like voltage, resistance, amperes, capacitance...etc it has two probes. measure the resistance across the two wires coming out of the power button

edit: You only need a cheap one for resistance ~ 30 bucks maybe. But your probable better off just putting everything in and trying it out.
good luck
