I am going to get a mobo that supports DDR2 800, and 677 but the site at AMD, HERE, look at the Socket AM2, says that it will support 667, it says nothing about 800.

Will it still work?

AMD was waiting for DDR2 to become at least equal to DDR before they changed over to it and that point is at DDR2 800 so to answer your question there is no reason why it will not work unless there is some kind of incompatability with the RAM you buy and the motherboard you buy (check compatability charts first).
