Yeah... it doesn't even come with any fans. But, that display is pretty sweet looking. If you do end up buying this baby, let me know how it turns out!
Wow that is the most expensive old type antec clone ive ever seen. Its not made of aluminum construction or nething either. Nice LCD but if you are looking for a quality case i would suggest spending a bit less on a good quality antec or Lian-Li.
Newegg has too many listings so sometimes its hard to sort through them, browse XOXIDE first ^_~.
I have this case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6811171055 Which is the same thing only the front door is flip flopped and mine is $100 less. I like the case alright but the airflow sucks and mine came with 5 80mm fans. I have to keep the door open to keep temps down and the front displey is about useless other than keeping time and the fans. Temps are nowhere close to accurate for specific parts. Part of my heating problem is the fact that I have six hard drives running, but the way they sit infront of the intake fan blocks all the air movement. I went and got some HDD heatsinks that bolt into the 5.25 bays. For over $200 there are alot of better cases you can get. Look into all the Lian Li's or Silverstone or Thermaltake. Here are a few I am looking at getting, though they might be a bit big for you unless you have the half a dozen Hdds I do.
I agree w/ RichPls. Lian- Li's are high quality built cases me personally have the 20th aniversary ed. watercooled and I love it , save some money they worth every penny.
I too would like to weigh in on Lian-Li. Their cases are so good I now have four of them. The one I like best is the server case with 12 hard drive cages in the bottom, and six 5 1/4 drive bays in the front that can be converted (using two $30 card cages) to hold another 8 hard drives. Quality of construction is the highest I've ever seen, and I've been building computers for 10+ years.
When people come over they stare in awe at these Lian-Li cases. True, they don't have all the fancy lights and dials the case you are thinking about, but as another poster said, you can buy a 3rd party front panel kit and install it yourself.
Okay, I will probably pass on it. I was thinking of getting it with a Monsoon II and therefore would save about $80 on the combination. But maybe I'll look more closely at the Lian Li's. I just haven't found anyone local that caries them.
