Asus P5W DH Deluxe BIOS 1305

Has anyone experienced difficulty with the above BIOS version for this board?

right now i'm using the 1407 and having problems. i think i'm going back to the 1305. to see if tha t clears up some issues i'm having.

Thanks for the reply. What problems are you having with the 1407? Many posts suggest that the 1407 is quite stable (particularly when compared to the 1405).

from one day to the next everything just slowed down. my bios all of a sudden is taking forever to boot. i've read a few others complaining about the bios boot time. i never had that problem up until yesterday. also it seem i can't get into bios hardware monitor when i change the fan setting inside. also after reflashing with 1407 on bootup i got a screen that said cmos bad, really don't know what thats about. i'm going to post a thread to see if anyone knows.

i don't remember if it was the 1305 or the 1407 that people were having long boot times with. but i'm going to give the 1305 another try to see if it helps.

The 1305 seems pretty speedy from my end, although I am comparing it to an old and inefficient BIOS on a Gigabyte GA-8KNXP!

My boot time with the 1407 is a little longer, but nothing serious.

i cleard up my boot time speed by diconnecting a few case fans that i connected. i noticed the bios got slow when i put the extra fans in powered by the motherboard. now that there disconnected bootup is fast, the hardware monitor in the bios would take forever, now its back to normal also.
