I have a Athlon 3400+ CPU, ATI 800XT AIW video card, and 2 gigs of DDR 3200 memory, so I am stuck with this combination until I can replace all. To make matters worse, I have this beautiful mirco ATX case. Currently I am using a Gigabyte Micro ATX mo-bo with a VIA K8T800 northbridge. AGP is stuck at 4x and Memory slows down to 2700 speed when two DIMS are installed. In all, this Mo-bo certainly slows the system down.
My question is: Who makes a decent micro ATX AGP based Mo-bo. The VIA K8T800 chipset does not allow overclocking and suspect that it is a POS. Is SIS or ULI any better? Nvidia doesn't make an Nforce3 for micro ATX, or do they?
