Black screen even after reboots

Here's the deal: I have an ATI x1800xt 256mb, by Sapphire. Today I plugged in component cables into the AVIVO connector on the card and my screen went blank. Now, I've rebooted a few times, tried switching slots on my mobo (P5ND2 - sli) and nothing has worked. I wasn't overclocking and I had the latest driver versions.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

You do have the additional 4-pin power connected, right?

Yeah, it's plugged in and the fan is running. It's no the monitor, because I tested it on another computer.

What type of screen is it CRT, LCD etc ??

is the screen in standby mode when the PC is conneced to it ??

make double sure the card is firmly seated in its slot (ie remove it, blast air can into the slot in case of dust/dirt, clean the contacts on the card with a soft eraser)...

I managed this once with my x850, no signal then i noticed that the card had come out a bit
