Why the Cold Cathode Kits in a windowless rig??? Do you plan on leaving the side off?

I used a cold cathode in a system I built 5 years ago. Now I find lighted fans save power plugs and a great deal of space for the same price. Also the addition of more fans increases case air flow.

the case I got has a front that isn't solid.. it has a screen on it
so with the cathodes the whole front will glow blue!
