Yes, DX-10 hardware supported cards will also support XP, in DX9c mode... since they will be backward supporting...

oh i see.

Sir/Madam RichPLS, if you are in my position (using x1600pro agp) and have the ability to buy a 7600gt, or x1900xt, or wait for the dx10 card, what will you choose?

i'm thingking of 3 scenarios here:

1. sell the x1600pro, purchase the 7600gt, wait for the dx10 becomes stable and wide-used, then sell the 7600gt, and buy a dx10 card which outperforms the 7600gt.

2. sell the x1600pro, purchase the x1900xt, wait for the 2nd generation of dx10 or even more if the x1900xt could live that long, then sell the x1900xt, and buy a dx10 card which outperforms the x1900xt.

3. save the money for the dx10 card to come.

I don't recall having to change my OS to change my DX in the past, this vista thing must be really advanced...
