am ordering a new rig from Newegg in the next few days since there “No Payments for 6 Months” deal ends Oct 31st. I have been a AMD user for the last 8 years but the new E6300 chip has some of the best overclocking potential I have seen. Here is the hardware I plan to buy, please let me know if you think I am making a mistake.

COOLER MASTER Praetorian PAC-T01-EK Black Case (Own)

ZALMAN CNPS9500 LED 92mm 2 Ball Blue LED Light Cooling Fan with Heatsink $50

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s $100

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz LGA 775 $180

eVGA 512-P2-N573-AR Geforce 7900GTO 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 $255

I am having trouble deciding on the best Mobo for my E6300, the gigabyte is popular but Biostar just released this new motherboard which they have had in Europe for a little while. I have had good luck with Biostar mobos in the past.

BIOSTAR TForce965PT Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 $105
Or
GIGABYTE GA-965P-DS3 Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 $143

Also I am unsure on the Memory to purchase. Do you think the Corsair is worth the extra cash?

Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) $250
or
CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) $280
or
Kingston 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) $215

Do you guys think I will need to buy a new Power Supply to run this computer? I am currently using an Antec TRUE430 ATX 430W.

The Zalman is rather expensive and the subject of great debate here on THGF. For ultimate cooling, there is better(Scythe-Ninja/Infinity, Tuniq Tower 120,TT-Big Typhoon) and no-more expensive. I would opt for the DS3 or an ASUS P5B-Deluxe, as they are both top-notch O/Cers. Although a little more expensive, i would choose the Corsair, then you're somewhat gauranteed at least 400FSB(1:1). The PSU should suffice, but it's not the best option. If you can afford it, you might want to upgrade it to something a little stronger and more modern. GL :)
