could some one please help me, i think i need a new psu i currently have a coolmaster true power 450w, running a dq6, e6600 gt7900 corisr 2gig, 4 cold cathod lights 2 x 120mm uv fans 3 90mm uv fans, dvdrom, 320gig wd, and it seems when i try to turn up the resoultion on some games(not all) the comp resets itself, (shuts down and re boots) ??? i was thinking of going for the thermaltake toughpower 750watts, iam i right assuming its psu??????

I don't think you are overcapacity on your PSU, even with the EE 965 presler it only hits 316w.

I would contact your GPU manufacturer there are issues with the 7900gt series memory voltage regulator and heat issues, that is probably related to the crashing and lockups.

thanks for the posts guys, i have just flashed to the newest bios version f6, the cpu temps are fine, have just installed a drivers.net special nvida omega like set, so maybe its that, i will reinstall drivers and see what happens, and sheck gpu casrd as well, it says i the book 400w or more for it??
