DQ6 IDE DVD problems

I have a Samsung SH-S182D burner connected to the Gigabyte GBB36X (JMicron JMB363) controller on my DQ6. It's the only device connected to this controller. Normally the burner works just fine, but after my kids run Zoo Tycoon 2 it locks up hard and I have to reboot to get it back. Checking the XP event log after this happens shows a bunch of cdrom and "JRAID1" controller errors. Controller driver version is 1.16.1.0. Anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!
PS -- I'm still on the F4 BIOS

The version on Gigabyte's web site is older than the one I'm using. I did however find a beta 1.17 on the web after a bit more searching. I'll try that tonight and post the results.

Beta 1.17.04 seems to work much better. Zoo Tycoon 2 still generates cdrom controller errors, but the errors don't cause the drive to lock up. The driver can be downloaded from http://rapidshare.de/files/36723577/JMB36X_WinDrv_Beta_R1.17.04.00.rar.html
