Looks like IBM has made a new processor and its got twice the clock speed as the old Power5 and no one knows how they did it. This to me is really interesting.

This is rather old news though, the Wiki has a bunch of info/links:

It should a fabulous processor (for certain apps). They're are going to be late into the market though. And have to compete with 4-core x86 chips. and Suns 8core Niagra2.
