You can use your wallet as a wrist rest? And it's comfortable, too. Especially if it's filled with old receipts. So save your money and instead of buying a "real" wrist rest, use your leather (faux-?) wallet instead. They cost about the same, don't they?

i've never tried it. actually a good idea although my chair has arms rests so i just make sure they are the same height as my desk so my arm stays pretty flat. means since my elbow is supported a wrist rest, at least IMO isn't needed. also mouse mats with them attached suck.

this is very useful, how long did it take you to figure it out?

OK what was the point of that? And actually this doesn't even belong in the homebuilt section.

wtf, he is just providing a helpful tip and it is something diy so the homebuilt is perfect. it is good advice as most "proper" solutions suck which is why i use netiher a mouse mad or wrist wrest. i won't be using the tip but others might.

I hate myself for looking at this thread. I wish people would use more descriptive subject lines like: "Wallet is useful as wristrest"

or

"Wristrests. How to save money"

or

"Wallets not just for keeping your cash"

or

"Spend 30 seconds on something you don't care about"

lol... post of the day. My aunt got me a Gucci wallet with nice soft leather... I'll have to try that (although, I got a mouse wrist pad for $1 and it is nice)
