I have a RAID 0 setup with both disks on 1 SATA channel.
I have noticed some people suggest that setting up RAID 0 works better if you split the 2 drives across both of your SATA channels by putting the 2 drives as drive 1 on each channel.
My question is, do I have to break the array to do this, or can I simply move one drive to the other channel and reconfigure the settings and all will work as before? (without having to start from scratch and reinstall everything)
Is it really any better configured that way?
BTW, I am using the onboard controller.
