Can you move a RAID 0 Drive?

I have an existing RAID 0 array and I am building a new system. Can I move the array, or do I have to backup all of the data and then restore it?

It depends on what you want to move it to. Completly different mobo chipset and raid hardware/drivers may require new chipset drivers and fresh install of OS, so you would have to backup and start over

I am moving it to a different motherboard with a differect chip set, but the RAID array is not my boot partition. Does that matter?
