Access PC Via Playstation

I got everything I need (NICs and Router)

What I want to do is be able to watch movies from my PC on My TV. So what I had in mind was to connect my Playstation 2 to the Home network and then use this playstation to access my harddrive and select movie that I want to play. Playstation is hooked up to the TV set.

Is this even posible???

I don't think so, but I'm no PS2 expert. I don't recall seeing any options to access network devices in my limited exposure to it though...
