Hey all

I was thinking of upgrading my system which would include a Geforce 7900GS which has two DVI outputs.

The problem is I want to salvage my old monitor, a VGA connector.

Will I be able to get a converter so that I just convert from DVI to VGA and have it work ok?

Thanks!

Yes, most graphics cards come with a DVI-VGA converter. If yours doesn't, you can buy one from newegg for about $5. I haven't noticed any quality differences from a VGA output compared to a DVI-VGA output.
