2 PCs Limited Desk Space

I want to setup a dedicated PC for BT and usenet downloads, and DVD burning. Now I'm using my main pc for this but I have enough spare parts to put together another lower spec PC for downloads and disk burning purposes.

The trick is, can I use just one monitor, keyboard and mouse to control two PCs? I know I can buy a VGA switch to switch between two display input but I have not idea how to use just one set of keyboard and mouse to control two PCs. Any idea?

This is just the thing you need - we use these at work. Pretty simple to set up and use too.
