Background:
-Brand new router as of Aug. 30, 2005
-Windows XP-SP2 OS

Symptons:

-If connected directly by ethernet cable to a port on the back, the
connection to the router works without issue.

-If connected via wireless, the connection drops after about 5 minutes.
A simple "repair" of the wireless connection restores the connection.
Very annoying.

FIX:

-Trying all channels found that some channels were more stable than
others. Picked the channel the most stable.
-Upgraded firmware to "v4.20.6, May. 26, 2005"

Moral of the story:
I bet the problem only shows up with service pack 2.
