ok i am like very new to building a pc(never built one but do maintain own pc) and i am thinking of building a htpc so i was scouting around for parts and hoping that ppl could help me here if they have ever used these parts also advice me if i am over spending on parts that i do not need here my spec:
CPU: Athlon 64 3800+ [Venice] {ADA3800BPBOX} (Amd)
MotherBord: A8N-VM CSM (Asus)
Video Card: GeForce 7600 GS {256-P2-N549-TR}(Nvidia)
Ram: CT2KIT6472Z40B 1Gb Kit 2X512 (Crucial)
Power Supply Unit: ST60F (Silverstone)
CPU Caseing: SG01-Evolution (Silverstone)
CPU Fan: NT03 (Silverstone)
CaseFan: FX121 (Silverstone),
Others:Sound Graph IMon RF Solutions (Controler), WinTV-PVR-500 MCE (hauppauge)

i would like to keep the case if possible cus it really looks nice when put into my living room and the psu i am not sure wat to use i am looking for a modular psu so that i will only use the wires i need and not more cause it is a sff case and thus not much space criticisms would be very much appreciated

thanks inadvance

That SG01-Evolution case is a bit bigger than the usual SFF PC so check the measurements carefully to make sure it fits where you want it too.
Here is a review of that case and it talks about what you need to watch - such as the length of the optical drives, heat buildup, etc.

Good looking list. Only missing a DVD, hard drive and a copy of WinXP MCE 2005.

You'll want to do your research carefully - most importantly on the size of the PSU and DVD-Combo drive. That 600W PSU is probably a lot more than you need. Also its depth of 180mm means you have to be looking at very short optical drives. The 560W PSU was 170mm & that type of difference could be important.

I'd go to the Silverstone SG01 website and read through the reviews of the case to see what the reviewers talked about.
